A friendly competition is underway between neighbours for the third annual holiday lighting contest at The Ridge. Many residents have engaged in creating a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy. This holiday season is the time when the whole community bands together to lift the spirits of all who visit the area.
The first Christmas decoration contest was held in 2019, when a few of the residents joined together to acknowledge those homeowners who decorated their homes and yards with such gusto. They established criteria, made the top choices and Buckstone Developments awarded prizes to the homeowners.
This year the friendly judging will take place during the middle of December. The winners and honourable mentions will be posted on our Facebook page.
Take a little time to drive or stroll through The Ridge neighbourhood. The results are truly beautiful as most of the homes are illuminated with both traditional and creative lighting displays. People of all ages will be dazzled by the festive displays.
